We are a Nordic communication agency specialized in sustainability, communication, and leadership. Our services are based on research and extensive experience.

Losvik & Flen offers services to businesses, organizations, and government agencies. Our vision is that all companies and organizations have an open and clear communication rooted in a strong corporate culture. Effective communication and a healthy corporate culture are the foundation for success.

We are passionate about genuine sustainability actions, where openness and transparency permeate everything. We help our clients implement sustainability as a core value in their organizations, whether it’s related to communication, strategy, leadership, or business development.

We create long-term positive change in your leadership and communication. In a crisis situation, we can quickly help you manage the situation and communicate both internally and externally.

The entire Nordic region is our working field, and we operate in four languages – English, Swedish, Finnish, and Norwegian. We highly value personal meetings, while we are no strangers to remote assignments. We feel at home both on mountain peaks and in sailboats, in rural areas as well as in capitals.

We are honest, courageous, energetic, and reliable.

How it all started

Two individual entrepreneurs, two seasoned experts in their respective fields. We worked together as presenters at a future seminar in 2016. And we had fun! A few years later, we took a leap of faith and embarked on our own tour to the Åland Islands. We gave lectures on leadership and crisis communication and realized that 1+1 truly is more than 2. Both for us and for our clients.

Elli Flén

Elli has over 20 years of experience working within media and communication. She has worked as a journalist, information officer in the Finnish Defence Forces, and as a special assistant to the Minister of Defense. Elli holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and is a reserve officer who has served in civilian and military crisis management operations in Kosovo and Afghanistan. Outside of work, Elli is passionate about her own garden by the sea, exercise, and travel. She also has a background in politics and is an engaged public debater on security policy, crisis management, and human rights. Elli works in English, Swedish and Finnish.

Lars Losvik

Lars is one of the most experienced speakers in the Nordic region on leadership, team building, and motivation. He works as a coach for many corporate leaders, experts, and top athletes. Lars has a degree in economics and adult education. Lars' great passion outside of work is cycling, skiing, and training in general. Lars can also be seen at equestrian events around Europe with his daughter Eirin Losvik, an equestrian star at the European elite level. Lars works in English, Swedish and Norwegian.

Tomas Knuts

Over the past few years, Tomas’s work has focused on sustainability and circular economy, assisting companies of various sizes in developing their transition efforts. Throughout his career, Tomas has been engaged in development issues, communication, strategy, and projects within the public, private, and third sectors. Tomas, a Master of Political Science, spends his free time enjoying outdoor activities, such as playing football, and taking trips with his kayak. Tomas works in English, Swedish and Finnish.

Sara Libäck-Sandin

Sara holds a Master’s degree in Economics and she is passionate about combining sustainability and communication. With a background in tourism, marketing, and sustainability, Sara wants to highlight the opportunities that arise when working with ustainability, especially when communicated effectively. Outside of work, Sara enjoys engaging in various creative projects, ranging from baking to handicrafts. As an active scout, Sara also finds joy in nature and likes to explore new hiking trails and places. Sara works in English, Swedish and Finnish.

Elina Jääskeläinen

Elina has extensive experience in strategic corporate communication and tactical marketing communication. She has previously worked in various communication roles in the Finnish Defence Forces and within marketing at consulting firm Deloitte. Elina currently works as a lecturer in marketing and communication at the Kajaani University of Applied Sciences (Kajaanin ammattikorkeakoulu KAMK) and assists us at Losvik & Flen, particularly with Finnish-language communication. Elina works in English and Finnish.
